Rituals

The Church of the Knotted Ash has members that are Ordained Clergy and Clergy in Training.  Our Clergy are able to perform:

  • Legal Same Sex (Gay) Marriages

  • Legal Handfasting Rituals (Ordained Clergy Only)

  • Handfasting Rituals (non-legally binding)

  • Unity Rituals (non-legally binding)

  • Handparting Rituals (not a legal divorce)

  • Funerary Rituals

  • Belly Blessings (for expectant mothers)

  • Wiccanings & Baby Blessings

  • House Cleansings & Blessings

  • Croning & Saging Rituals

As part of our commitment to serve the greater community, we do not charge for our services.  However, donations are greatly appreciated. Suggested donations range from $10 - $200 depending on the service.

Pastoral Counseling

Currently none of our Clergy are licensed Psychologists, Psychiatrists, or Counselors. Their area of expertise is Spiritual Counseling. They are trained to identify the need to seek professional counseling.

Classes

The Church of the Knotted Ash has members in different locations that offer a number of classes.  We hold general classes of interest regularly (see below), and we endeavor to bring a variety of other classes to the community when there is a need.  Please check our home page for upcoming classes and dates in your area.

Wicca 101 classes are offered periodically throughout the year in the Greater Buffalo area.  Currently, Wicca 101 classes in Arlington, VA are offered on an on-going 1-on-1 basis by personal interview process.

Wicca 201 mentoring is offered to individuals on a 1-on-1 basis by Clan members in their general area based on certain criteria obtained in a personal interview process.
